South Indian Actress, Trisha Krishnan born in Kerala, presently living in Chennai is versatile and voluptuous model come actress, worked on more than 35 movies and several other modeling assignments.
She made her first appearance in the 1999 Tamil film Jodi, as a supporting role character, she won a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her first lead role in the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe. She later rose to fame after starring in the successful films, Saamy (2003)
and Ghilli (2004) in Tamil cinema and Varsham (2004) in Telugu cinema, for which she secured her first South Filmfare Best Actress Award. Born to Krishnan Iyer, Palakkad, Kerala and Uma Krishnan, in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, the Tamil actress got her higher education from Ethiraj College in Madras.
In school, she participated in several cultural activities, sports and school band. Whilst studying in college, she ventured into part-time modeling, participating in various beauty pageants.
She won Miss Salem in 1999, Miss Madras in 1999 and Miss India Miss Beautiful Smile in 2001. She studied at Sacred Heart Church Park School.
